New Products for Easter 2008 |
FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company boasts strong Valentine’s Day
increases for 2008.
St. Louis,
Missouri – February 19, 2008:
Just less then a week after Valentine’s Day, Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate Company reports strong sales increases from Valentine’s
Day 2007. Chocolate Covered Strawberries, which are one of the
company’s signature Valentine’s Day products, were sold at a record
breaking high. Some of the Company’s newer locations, like the
Wentzville store, showed remarkable gains from last year.
Wentzville, being the farthest store from the original South St.
Louis headquarters, show much promise for the Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate Company franchise system.
The
Company’s Chocolate Covered Strawberries, which are cut at the top
and twice dipped in milk chocolate, have become a “delectable
Valentine's tradition” in St. Louis according to a video that was
cast on Mayor Slay’s website this Valentine’s Day. The video which
showed Chocolate Covered Strawberries being manufactured across St.
Louis, ended with founder Dan Abel’s children Christina, Dan Jr. and
Christopher wishing St. Louis a Happy Valentine’s Day. The Abel
kids, who are 25, 22, and 18, are beginning to run daily operations
for the Company. “We had 7 kitchens manufacturing 12+ hours a day
just to produce enough chocolate covered strawberries to cater to
customers in St. Louis and the western tip of Illinois” remarked Dan
Abel Jr.
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company also released 7 new products
for Valentine’s Day this year including four different heart boxes,
two truffle assortments and decorated Oreo cookies. Almost all of
the new products had sold out before the 12th of February
this year, which is when the majority of Valentine’s sales begin.
Much of their success was due to the increased web sales and new
wholesale accounts that now account for 25% of the Company’s total
sales.
As
Valentine’s Day came to a quick end, the company quickly began
preparing for the 2008 Easter season, which is nearly 3 weeks early
this year. With March 23rd quickly arriving, Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company has prepared four new Easter products to
complement its full line of chocolate bunnies, eggs and Easter
chocolate novelties. The new products include The Ultimate
Easter Basket, Easter Decorated Oreo Cookies, a Keepsake Egg box
filled with chocolates and Chocolate Covered Peeps.

ABOUT
CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE COMPANY:

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company is an award-winning
chocolatier founded in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to the opening in
1981, founder Dan Abel spent over a decade prior training with the
finest chocolatiers in the world. His apprenticeship taught him
everything there is to know about the art of crafting premium
chocolates in small batches. Some of the recipes and techniques
used today come from old time candy makers dating back to 1904.
The
original candy kitchen is still in operation today at the
headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. The company has grown from one
location to over a dozen retail stores, with the same time honored
methods of old fashioned candy making. Old fashioned copper kettles
mix the creamy caramels, crèmes and truffle centers that are then
cut by hand after sitting on a chilling table. The centers are then
enrobed by our meticulous chocolatiers, who inspect each piece
before it leaves the candy kitchen. Most importantly, the
chocolates consumed by customers are usually made the day they were
purchased. There is nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it
was made.
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company products are sold through its
12 retail locations in the St. Louis and Illinois areas, an
ecommerce website (www.chocolatechocolate.com),
new catalog and wholesale accounts across America.
