FOR
IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company will start making Chocolate
Covered Raspberries starting May 1st this year.
St. Louis,
Missouri – May 1, 2008:
For the first time in 27 years, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate
Company will begin making its prized Chocolate Covered Raspberries a
month earlier. Starting May 1st, all twelve of Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company’s retail stores will be offering fresh
Chocolate Covered Raspberries along with its Chocolate Covered
Strawberries, which are made all year round. The Chocolate Covered
Strawberries, which are a top seller for Mother’s Day will be
complemented by fresh Chocolate Covered Raspberries over a month
early. California raspberries, which are typically hard to get a
hold of until late June have been brought in early to St. Louis just
for Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company. “We use the same
California growers for our raspberries as we do for our
strawberries, so this year we negotiated to receive an earlier
shipment of fresh raspberries” remarked Dan Abel Jr. of Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company. These are not your typical raspberries
either; they are about twice the size of the average red raspberry.
One thing unique about the company’s Chocolate Covered Raspberries
is that they are made on the same day they are purchased, just like
the Chocolate Covered Strawberries. After hand-picking the finest
raspberries of the batch, they are chocolate covered in the
company’s award-winning milk chocolate in small batches at time.
This is made possible since the company has 8 candy kitchens across
St. Louis and Illinois, all located inside Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate Company retail stores. The stores without candy kitchens
receive a morning delivery of strawberries and raspberries before
the store even opens. A second batch of strawberries and
raspberries are usually made mid-day as the first batch tends to
sell out.
Although Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company sells its chocolates
in all Dierbergs Markets, online at
www.chocolatechocolate.com, through its new national catalog and
many national wholesale accounts, the only place one will find its
Chocolate Covered Raspberries is in the company’s retail stores.
This is done to ensure the product is as fresh as possible. There
is nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it was made.
ABOUT
CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE COMPANY:

Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company is an award-winning
chocolatier founded in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to the opening in
1981, founder Dan Abel spent over a decade prior training with the
finest chocolatiers in the world. His apprenticeship taught him
everything there is to know about the art of crafting premium
chocolates in small batches. Some of the recipes and techniques
used today come from old time candy makers dating back to 1904.
The
original candy kitchen is still in operation today at the
headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. The company has grown from one
location to over a dozen retail stores, with the same time honored
methods of old fashioned candy making. Old fashioned copper kettles
mix the creamy caramels, crèmes and truffle centers that are then
cut by hand after sitting on a chilling table. The centers are then
enrobed by our meticulous chocolatiers, who inspect each piece
before it leaves the candy kitchen. Most importantly, the
chocolates consumed by customers are usually made the day they were
purchased. There is nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it
was made.
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company products are sold through its
12 retail locations in the St. Louis and Illinois areas, an
ecommerce website (www.chocolatechocolate.com),
new catalog and wholesale accounts across America.
