St. Louis,
Missouri, January 15, 2007 — Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company
post strong increases in all retail stores and wholesale accounts;
up to 50% in some locations.
Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company, after analyzing all store sales for the
holiday season, reports that all store sales and wholesale accounts
have significantly increased for the 2006 holiday season. Some
stores have even posted a 50% increase from the year prior.
Founder, Dan Abel said that he expected a jump in sales this year
but was surprised with such an increase. Since the company’s
expansion in 2002, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company has
expanded to 13 locations, 3 of them in Illinois, a fully ecommerce
website (www.chocolatechocolate.com), and large wholesale accounts
such as Dierbergs Markets. “We attribute much of our success this
year from the increased awareness of new store territories, being
inside such a reputable grocery store chain as Dierbergs, and our
new advertising campaigns set in place” said Abel.
The
Edwardsville and Wentzville locations, which opened fall of 2006,
had their first Christmas seasons as well. These stores’ success
this season has proven that Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company’s
method of producing small daily batches of premium chocolates on
premises is very successful outside the original South St. Louis and
Kirkwood markets.
Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company is now gearing up for Valentines Day,
hoping its success will continue into the Valentines season where
Chocolate Covered Strawberries its signature item. The company also
has a full selection of heart boxes full of chocolate and chocolate
shapes of hearts as well as a full selection of Valentines candies.
ABOUT
CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE COMPANY:
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company began manufacturing premium
hand made chocolates in 1981. Prior to the company's opening,
founder Dan Abel spent over a decade training with the finest candy
makers in the world. His apprenticeship taught him everything there
is to know about making premium chocolates in small batches. Some
of the recipes used today come from old time candy makers dating
back to 1904.
The original candy kitchen is still in operation today at the
headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Although the company has grown
from one location to over a dozen retail stores, the same time
honored methods of old fashioned candy making are still in place.
Copper kettles mix the creamy centers that are then cut by hand
after sitting on a chilling table. The centers are then enrobed by
our meticulous candy makers, who inspect each piece before it leaves
the candy kitchen. Most importantly, the chocolates consumed by
customers are usually made the day they were purchased. There is
nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it was made.
