Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company celebrates 25 years in business!
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company has been making delicious hand
made chocolates since 1981. Now, 25 years later, the company has
grown from its original kitchen in St. Louis, Missouri
to over 12 retail locations with more opening in the fall.
The expansion
began in 2002 when Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company began
franchising its retail chocolate store concept with small candy
kitchens in the back. This gives customers the pleasure of looking
through the windows of the retail store to see the chocolatesbeing
made right in front of their eyes. Currently, Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate Company has stores in two states, Missouri and Illinois,
spanning a 100 mile radius, making it the largest chocolate company
in the Greater St. Louis area.
Although
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company is known for its freshly made
chocolate covered strawberries,
it also has over 50 hand made chocolates in its old fashioned candy
case including some of the best truffles,
crèmes, caramels, and nut assortments you could imagine. Some of its
other specialties include its
signature 2 LB. Special, 2 pounds of solid break up chocolate, Molasses
Puff, Heavenly Hash (chocolate,
freshly made marshmallows, and almonds), Bark, which is a thin layer of
chocolate with a different nut each month (Cashew, Pecan, Almond,
and Peanut), freshly packed Boxed Chocolates and over 600 chocolate
molded novelties spanning from chocolate roses to a chocolate King
Kong over a foot tall! As a result of the extensive research
showing that high concentrations of cocoa in chocolate provides
healthy antioxidants, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company was one
of the first to introduce its special blend of 72% cocoa dark
chocolate. Today it has a full line of chocolates with the 72% cocoa
blend that are sure to please the palate and heart with a full boost
of antioxidants.
Although
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company most likely has a store in
your neighborhood, that’s not the only place you will find its
products. It also does custom molds for corporations and charities
that can be customized with a company’s logo and name. In addition,
the company offers a full selection of gift boxes for weddings and
parties that can be imprinted with the bride and groom’s name,
wedding date, or party name and then filled with fresh, hand made
chocolates.
Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company currently has one store inside the
Dierbergs Market, an upscale grocery store in St. Louis. To be
inside of such a reputable store such as Dierbergs has been an honor
to the company. Currently, there are plans to open up another
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company store inside of Dierbergs
Market which will open up in the fall and allow the grocery store
customers to watch chocolates being made as they check out. What
does the future look like for Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company?
The company says that it is just going to keep doing what it is
doing and that is to open more stores and continue to make its
chocolates in fresh, small batches at a time. Its goal is to
franchise all across the country so everyone has the opportunity to
have a box of Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company chocolates.
ABOUT
CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE COMPANY:
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company began manufacturing premium
hand made chocolates in 1981. Prior to the company's opening,
founder Dan Abel spent over a decade training with the finest candy
makers in the world. His apprenticeship taught him everything there
is to know about making premium chocolates in small batches. Some
of the recipes used today come from old time candy makers dating
back to 1904.
The original candy kitchen is still in operation today at the
headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Although the company has grown
from one location to over a dozen retail stores, the same time
honored methods of old fashioned candy making are still in place.
Copper kettles mix the creamy centers that are then cut by hand
after sitting on a chilling table. The centers are then enrobed by
our meticulous candy makers, who inspect each piece before it leaves
the candy kitchen. Most importantly, the chocolates consumed by
customers are usually made the day they were purchased. There is
nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it was made.
