locations in St. Louis and started franchising its retail stores in
2002. Since then the company has expanded across all of St. Louis
and even branched out 50 miles east and 50 miles west from the
original location. Today, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company has
13 retail store locations, sells products to all 23 Dierbergs
Markets grocery stores and plans to keep expanding into new
markets.
Between
Dierbergs and its retail stores, Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate
Company covers a spread of over 100 square miles making it the
largest chocolate company in St. Louis. Chocolate Chocolate
Chocolate Company also sells products across America through its

“seeing boxes of our chocolates being shipped to California,
Florida, New York and other distant states really shows how our
products are enjoyed by customers all over America; that’s how I
define success.”
Chocolate
Chocolate Chocolate Company will continue to expand through
franchising into new markets. “Franchising was the best choice for
our expansion because it gives people the opportunity to own a fun
business and work around happy people. People are always in a happy
mood when they come to buy chocolate, its just a good environment”
said Abel.
ABOUT
CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE CHOCOLATE COMPANY:
Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company began manufacturing premium
hand made chocolates in 1981. Prior to the company's opening,
founder Dan Abel spent over a decade training with the finest candy
makers in the world. His apprenticeship taught him everything there
is to know about making premium chocolates in small batches. Some
of the recipes used today come from old time candy makers dating
back to 1904.
The original candy kitchen is still in operation today at the
headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Although the company has grown
from one location to over a dozen retail stores, the same time
honored methods of old fashioned candy making are still in place.
Copper kettles mix the creamy centers that are then cut by hand
after sitting on a chilling table. The centers are then enrobed by
our meticulous candy makers, who inspect each piece before it leaves
the candy kitchen. Most importantly, the chocolates consumed by
customers are usually made the day they were purchased. There is
nothing like a piece of chocolate the day it was made.
